You have the incredible oportunity not only to enjoy the beautiful scenery, also to visit several attractions in the foothills of Pirin Mountain

Trail 1: Kulinoto

Region : Razlog valley at the foot of the Rila and Pirin mountains

Starting from Katarino complex, following an easy trail, passing through St Catherine and St.Ivan Rilski Chapels, Kalininska poliana, and the Predela saddle (the border between Rila and Pirin mountains) to the Kulinoto area.

Trail 2: King’s Road

Region : The foothills of the Southern slope of the Rila mountain and the Northern slope of the Pirin Mountain

Starting from several points including Katarino Complex, Hotel Razlog, Hotel Bulgaria and Perun Hotel in Bansko, passing by the Pirin Golf and the Betolovoto area , through the authentic King’s road, the Kulinoto area, Predel hut and the Predela saddle. The way back to Katarino and hotel Razlog follows an easy cart trail through Kalininska poliana and St. Catherine chapel, and the way back to hotel Bulgaria and hotel Perun follows the central asphalt road.

Trail 3: The Mineral Springs in Razhdavec area

Region: The foothills of the Southern slope of the Rila mountain.

Starting from Katarino complex or Razlog hotel following a comfortable asphalt road, leading to the village of Bachevo, passing by 2 water tanks, climbing down on picturesque forest paths and arriving to the natural mineral springs.

Trail 4: Dancing Bears Park

Region : Mesta Valley in the southern foothills of the Rila and the Rhodope mountains

Starting from several points including Katarino Complex, Hotel Razlog, Hotel Bulgaria and Perun Hotel in Bansko. Cycling through the village of Banya and the town of Belitsa, from there following an uphill track about 12 km to the dancing bears park.

Trail 5: The Church St.St. Theodor Thiron and Trifon Stratilat, the village of Dobarsko

Region : At the southern foothills of the Rila mountain

Starting from several points including Katarino Complex, Hotel Razlog, Hotel Bulgaria and Perun Hotel Bansko. Cycling through the village of Banya, , following an off road track and climbing the Southern slopes of the Rila mountain. Travelling through the villages of Dolno and Gorno Draglishte, from here a beautiful views to the north east slopes of Pirin and the Razlog valley are revealed. The last stage is a difficult climb up to the village of Dobarsko stopping to visit the church.

You are advised to bring suitable clothing including comfortable sports shoes, sun glasses, and a sun protective cream!
